From The Campground
Bradfield Campground is a large and open campground located in the Dolores River Canyon below McPhee Dam. It has 22 first-come, first-serve campsites and easy access to a boat ramp and trailer parking. Services include potable water, trash pickup, vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire grates. The campground is popular during the short rafting season on the Dolores River. Between September and May, there are limited or no services. The campground has a boat-launching area for rafts, canoes, and kayak trips on the lower Dolores River. You can keep fish caught downstream from Bradfield Bridge, but above it is catch-and-release.
