West View RV Resort is an ideal destination for RVers looking for a full-featured camping experience. It features spacious pull-through sites with modern utility hook-ups, cable TV, and private patches of grass. The park also has a host of amenities including laundry facilities, several dog parks, on-site RV storage, pickle ball and playground, patio & sitting areas, and an onsite bar and lounge area with daily happy hour. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and they organize potluck dinners and activities. The park is located a couple of miles north of Cortez and is close to the San Juan National Forest and the free Tram to Telluride. There are some drawbacks, however, such as the lack of shade, spotty cell service, and the noise from the lumber yard next door.
