Durango RV Park is a no-frills campground located 15 miles from Durango, Colorado. With low monthly rates, friendly hosts, and easy access to DirecTV or Dish Network, DSL phone connections, laundry and mail, this campground is a great option for those looking for a budget-friendly place to stay. The park is open all year for those looking to ski or do other winter activities. The sites are private and quiet, with plenty of trees and level ground. The flowers are pretty, and the hummingbirds, farm, mining and industrial antiques make it an old-iron lovers paradise. However, the park is mostly filled with long-termers that look like oil field workers, and there are rusted out 1940s vintage farm trucks and tractors scattered around the park. There is also an oil field facility across the road that runs all night and sounds like a train engine. The asphalt humps in the driveways and a huge rusty chain to keep traffic down to 5 mph can be hard on vehicles. The phone didnt even work when we tried to call, so this park definitely didnt live up to expectations.

Durango RV Park is an adult-only, year-round RV park located in Durango, Colorado. The park offers monthly rentals only, with a six-month minimum stay. The park is surrounded by gorgeous views of the Rockies in a peaceful, serene ambiance, blessed with plentiful shade. Most of the full-time RVers are single adults who have stayed here through the winter, year after year. The park offers reasonable, affordable monthly rates, beautiful, immaculate grounds, luxurious shade throughout the RV park, extremely quiet surroundings, snow plowed through the winter, laundry facilities, free Wi-Fi, and owners on premises full time.
