Elk Meadow Lodge & RV Resort in Estes Park, CO is loved by many for its close proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park where deer and elk frequently visit the campground. The staff at the office are friendly and helpful and the park is clean. The views of the mountains are gorgeous and perfect for taking pictures. While the sites are mostly gravel and not level, many campers enjoy the beauty of the location. Some sites were quite close together, but this seemed to be common for campgrounds in the area. The Wi-Fi signal is weak, but some guests were able to use T-Mobile. Although the roads and sites need more maintenance to prevent mudslides during heavy rain, the experience and location balances out any minor discomforts.
