Glenwood Canyon Resort is a park situated in a quiet and beautiful setting, with mature trees that provide shade for the gravel sites. Mountain cliffs on either side of the park offer stunning views of the surrounding scenery. The park is co-located with a white-water rafting company, yet it remains peaceful, and there are no street lights scattered throughout the RV sites, so its nice and dark at night. Some sites back up to the Colorado River, and theres a trail along the canyon, making it an easy three-mile ride to Glenwood Springs. However, some visitors have found the park to be overpriced, with a lack of amenities, considering the cost. Some have noted that the sites are very close together, and some van sites dont have fire rings or picnic tables. Theres also limited free Wi-Fi and cable. Despite this, many visitors appreciate the beauty of the parks location and the peace and quiet it offers, making it a great retreat for those who want to escape the citys hustle and bustle.
