This campground is located near Coors Brewery, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and Buffalo Bill Museum and gravesite. It is a convenient location, but the campground itself is not ideal. The pull through sites are narrow and barely big enough for motorhomes. The interior roads are also narrow and difficult to navigate due to people parking their vehicles partially in the street. In addition, there is a biker bar nearby that causes loud noise at night. The facilities are also not very clean and there have been reports of thefts in the area. The campground is full of long-term trailers and locals living in the area, and there is no grass, only trimmed weeds. It is a cheap option, but it is not recommended due to its poor condition.

Golden Terrace South RV Resort is an age-qualified (55+) resort that offers extended stays from April 15th till September 15th. Reservations can have a maximum of 14 days per site, and back-to-back 14-day stays are permissible, given that guests change sites between reservations. The resort offers RV sites, tent sites, and rental units. Amenities vary by resort, and the resort offers a 10% discount on all RV site types, tent sites, and rental units. However, Tiny House rentals and reservations at Desert Vista Salome KOA, Grandy Creek KOA, Lake Conroe KOA, Little Diamond KOA, Okeechobee KOA, Pine Island KOA, and St. George KOA are excluded from this promotion. The resort is subject to availability, and reservations are required. Offers are valid on new reservations only, and rates do not include taxes.
