What others are saying about this campground
Jeffco Fairgrounds is a campground located in the western area of Denver, Colorado. It is a great location to explore the foothills, the Mother Cabrini Shrine, Buffalo Bills Grave and Museum, and the Coors Brewery. The campground offers open stalls for long haul riders and designated spots for RV parking during events. It is not a destination campground, but it is a decent place for an overnight stay. Sites are close together and mostly in a big gravel parking lot, with some long termers on blacktop and a few small back-ins by the bathrooms. The sites are unlevel, so leveling may be a challenge. The campground provides water and 30 amp electric, but no sewer. WiFi is available but requires a cumbersome login and is fair to poor in actual use. The individual showers inside the bathroom areas have a code-entry for extra security. The campground also features a playground and picnic shelter. The dump station is kept locked and can be difficult to access. The camp hosts are friendly and helpful. The campground is not suitable for larger Big Rig RVs due to the tight spaces and close proximity of the sites. It is a bit on the expensive side, but provides a great base to explore Denver and the foothills.
