The sites are gravel, with a retaining wall around each one. We had a full hookup site and the utilities were placed in such a way that we had to pull forward to get our truck in front of the camper. The campground also offers a small fishing pond and a game room with pool table and air hockey. The campground is conveniently located just outside the western entrance to RMNP and walkable to the town center of Grand Lake. The sites are gravel and level, with short retaining wall ledges around them. The property also offers a small fishing pond and the elk provide nightly concerts with their bugling across the meadow. Honey wagon service is provided one time at no charge during the stay, and the owners are friendly and helpful. The campground is also close to outdoor activities of Rocky Mountain National Park and the village of Grand Lake, with moose, elk, and fox wandering through the campground in the evenings. There is an outdoor commercial sink with hot water so van and tent campers can wash dishes, and a game room with pool table and air hockey. The sites are wide and well separated both in distance and visually, and most sites look reasonably level. The bathrooms and showers are very clean, and the campground offers full hookups with 50 amp extension cords available if needed.
