"Come and watch the grass grow" is the slogan at the Gunnison KOA. Mom, Dad, children and dogs will enjoy camping on the 100% grass-covered sites. Unique to the West, this KOA has an abundance of water to provide green grass for camping. Take off your shoes and enjoy the blades between your toes. Blue Mesa Reservoir, the largest body of water in Colorado, is so close you can feel the fishing and water recreation from 8 miles away. Children and adults will enjoy the campground petting zoo. Fish, bike, hike, raft and shop within minutes of this quiet campground. The wildflowers in nearby Crested Butte are spectacular! This is a unique camping experience. Max pull thru: 100 feet.
