GenieSummary

This campground is located right off of I-70, making it an easy and convenient spot to stop for a night while on the road. It is a great place for day trips, with easy access to biking, hiking, and fishing. There are 8 sites, each with a fire ring and picnic table, some with shade and some without. It is a self-pay campground ($10), and there are two vault toilets that havent been serviced in a while. There is a lot of road noise from I-70, but it is bearable. The sites are close together, but there is still some privacy. There is a small creek nearby, and a couple of trails near the entrance. The campground has been recently affected by a fire, so the vegetation is burnt, but there are still two gates open leading into the campground. Cell service is good, and the views in the morning are spectacular. There is potential here for a great camping experience, but it is best suited for a one night stay.
