Black Bear RV Park is a great place for families to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The park has wide, dirt roads with sharp, tight turns and overhead tree branches, making it challenging for big rigs and long coaches. The sites are generously spaced and level with gravel and dirt, and most have pull-through and back-in options. The sewer and electric hookups are in the expected places, but the water hookups are at one end of each site. The park offers a dog park, playground, volleyball court, and peaceful nights in nature. The public bathrooms are mostly clean, and the showers are tiny and short with missing tiles on the floor. The park offers discounts and is thinking of lowering their rates even further to help build the park back up. There is also a cafe with home-style cooking and discounts for campers.
