What others are saying about this campground
Navajo State Park is a hidden gem located in the Pagosa Springs area of Colorado. It is a great place for families, with generously sized campsites and plenty of space between them. It is also a great spot for fishing and boating, with a marina offering boat rentals. Many of the campsites have great views of the lake, and some even have a shade shelter. All sites have a gravel pad, picnic table, and fire pit/grill. There is a clean and reasonably priced laundry facility, and the bathrooms are within walking distance. The roads and sites can be dusty and muddy when it rains, and the park is quite noisy due to the speedboats and watercraft. However, the scenery and beauty of the area make it a great place to visit any time of year.

From The Campground

Navajo State Park is Colorado's Answer to Lake Powell. Boaters and campers enjoy the park year-round. Sailors, house boaters and other power boaters cruise some of the 15,000 surface-acres of the giant reservoir. Fishing enthusiasts catch crappie, large-mouth and small-mouth bass, northern pike, trout, bluegill and catfish in the reservoir. Navajo’s campgrounds have 138 campsites; most sites are open year-round.
