This RV campground is a great basecamp for travelers to Steamboat Springs and Grand Lake. It offers shaded sites under aspen trees, storage for RVs and boats, and access to BLM land for 4 wheeling or dirt biking. The park is friendly and very clean, but all sand and gravel. The check-in lady is somewhat surly, and there are natural gas pipeline maintenance workers nearby who start their diesel trucks at 5AM. The restrooms and showers are clean, but the doors are only 3 feet high. There is weak signal at the sites, but good Wi-Fi near the office. There are also loud ATVs permitted to disturb other guests. The sites are long enough for big rigs and wide enough for slides and toads.
