From The Campground

Conejos Campground is a first-come, first-served campground located in Rio Grande National Forest. The campground offers fishing access to the Conejos River and Spectacle Lake, which is open year-round for winter ice-fishing. Spectacle Lake Trail 730, Ruybalid Trail 855, and Notch Trail 729 are also accessible from the campground. The campground has a single toilet and is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. The fee for a single site is $26 to $30 per night, and day use (picnicking) is $12. There is no water available at the campground. The closest town is Platoro, CO.
