There is a nice dog park and walking trail along the river. The sites are level, gravel and well spaced. The owners are friendly and helpful and have added special touches to make your stay comfortable. We had good Verizon and T-Mobile signal and the WiFi was good until it stopped working at 8:30 pm. Charlies Market in town is a great place to stock up on supplies and the ice cream was great. We will definitely return to explore more of this beautiful area. Circle the Wagons RV Park is a beautiful campground situated at the base of the Spanish Peaks on the Cuchara River in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. It features level, gravel sites with full hookups that are well-spaced and have a grass area and picnic table. There is a fire pit close to the office for camper gatherings, and a cabin available for non-RVers. There is a dog park and a walking trail with benches along the river around the perimeter of the property. The campground has a DVD and book lending library, strong WiFi, a propane fire pit, and a meeting room/kitchen that can accommodate 35-40 people. There is a small market in town for supplies and the owners are friendly and helpful. Verizon and T-Mobile signal is 1-2 bars and the WiFi was good until it stopped working at 8:30 pm. There is a 78 cents charge for using a credit card.

We RV Champions of La Veta is a pet-friendly RV park located in a great small town within walking distance. The park offers long flat gravel sites with great grass strips and huge trees between sites. Love the creek side spots and dog walking path. The park has clean bathrooms, a game room with books and DVDs to borrow, and decent WiFi. There are lots of area attractions nearby. We RV Champions of La Veta is a hidden gem!
