Castle Lakes Campground is a peaceful, family-friendly campground situated on a private lake in the San Juan Mountains. Located about 8 miles from Lake City and part-way up Cinnamon Pass, the campground is the perfect starting point for any 4x4 riding, fishing, hiking, or ATV/jeep excursions. The campground offers level, spacious sites with plenty of shade trees, power and water hookups, and fire rings. Wifi is available at the office and cell service is spotty at best. The campground elevation is over 9,000 feet so be prepared with warm clothes. The staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Fishing on the private lakes is available for an additional fee of $7/day and jeep rentals are available. The campground is remote and offers a great getaway for those looking for a peaceful retreat.

The campground offers 50 camping and RV sites, 10 sleeping accommodations, and two pristine lakes for fishing.
