From The Campground

Spruce Campground is located on Cebolla Creek, between the Powderhorn and La Garita Wilderness areas in the Grand Mesa Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests. The campground offers 9 single sites for first-come, first-serve camping, with no reservations required. The area is popular with hikers, backpackers, anglers, and hunters. Several miles of trail exist in both wilderness areas. The campground has a vault toilet and no water. Campers are required to store food and other items in a hard-sided vehicle or camping unit constructed of solid non-pliable material. RV camping is available with no hookups. The campground is open from May to October and fees are not required.
