Boyd Lake State Park in Loveland, CO offers campgrounds that are not crowded, making it a great state park to visit. The cottonwoods provide golden views while the park remains breezy and quiet. The staff is friendly, and restrooms and showers are clean. Its an electric only park with water spigots nearby, so plan accordingly if you need water or shower facilities. There are several Camp Hosts that help keep the park clean, making it a nice place to stay. The park also features a great paved trail for walking and biking by the lake, and a low water level offers a bigger beach for visitors to enjoy.
