Eagle CG is a small campground located just off Hwy 34 on the route to Rocky Mountains National Park. The campground offers a great view and location, as well as friendly and accommodating staff. The sites are small, but there is plenty of room for big rigs to maneuver. There is a small store attached to the office and a game room, however children cannot play without adult supervision. Unfortunately, there is hardly any space to walk your dog and people run their vehicles early in the morning, creating a lot of traffic noise. There is also limited Verizon service, even with a booster. The nightly fee reflects the monthly rate of $415/month including electric. Overall, this campground is a great option as a last resort.
