From The Campground
Camp Dick Campground is located in a wooded creek valley surrounded by aspen, pine and spruce trees. Wildlife is common, with frequent sightings of beaver and moose in the vicinity. The campground offers 41 sites available for use by tents, trailers or RV's. Buchanan Pass and Sourdough trails offer opportunities for non-motorized recreation, and Middle Saint Vrain and Bunce School roads are popular among four-wheelers, ATV and motorcycle riders. A disability-accessible platform is constructed adjacent to Middle Saint Vrain Creek for fishing access. Campfires are generally allowed, unless seasonal restrictions are in effect. Visitors may gather dead and down wood for burning while visiting the National Forest. Campgrounds with hosts offer firewood for sale; contact the campground host.
