GenieSummary

This campground is a city park located along a tranquil trout stream, providing beautiful scenery and wildlife. It is conveniently located to Denver, Rocky Mountain National Park, and the resort town of Lyons. The campground hosts are friendly and helpful, but there are no stores, laundromats, or showers. The RV sites are gravel back-in with full hook-ups and wifi, although they are very close together and there is no room for tables, fire rings, or awnings. The sites are also not very level, so it is important to bring a long power cord if your power is not at the rear. The adjacent park is beautiful, with stone walkways, modern picnic shelters, a playground, and fountains. It is also within walking distance of the town of Lyons. The campground is expensive for the small spaces, but it is a great place for a quick overnight trip from Denver.

From The Campground

It is located at an elevation of 5,370 feet and is bounded on three sides by the North St. Vrain River and nestled among sandstone cliffs.
