Naturita Campground is a small, quaint RV park located in Naturita, Colorado. It is situated off the beaten path, offering travelers a peaceful, serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the interstate. The campground is owned by Lloyd, a retired Marine/Army drill Sargent, who is very hardworking and friendly. He will guide you into your site and provide a charcoal grill for your use. The sites are dirt with a road around them, and houses close by. There is a light on a pole that flickered constantly, making staying outside at night a bit annoying. The park has great wifi, good enough to watch movies, and brand new showers and toilets that are very clean. The laundry room has new washers and dryers, and the owner is undergoing chemotherapy but still manages to keep the place clean and running. The RV park is across the street from a grocery with an excellent selection and fair prices. Reservations are recommended since it is the only RV park for miles. It is a great place to stay at the midpoint of scenic Colorado Hwy.
