From The Campground

East Fork Campground is a beautiful campground located on a ridge above the East Fork of the San Juan River. The campground offers 26 campsites, 17 of which are reservable, and the remaining are first-come, first-serve. The sites are nestled amongst the Ponderosa pines and Gambel oaks, and a few sites offer level pull-throughs. Although some sites look down to the river, the river is a long way down. Short, steep trails lead down to the river bank, offering plenty of fishing. At 7,700 ft., this campground can be warmer than many of the other campgrounds in the area.
