This campground is a small, family-owned park located near Pagosa Springs downtown area. It is a wooded, quiet, and well-maintained park with a great selection of amenities including FHU, cable TV, WiFi, and long pull-thru sites. The park hosts are friendly and helpful, and the owners have planted colorful flowers all around the grounds. The park is great for big rigs, although the sites are rather tight and the access to and from the campground can be tricky due to the heavy traffic on Highway 160. The owner is very accommodating and will help you to get your rig backed into your site, as well as provide assistance with troubleshooting and setup. The park also offers special events like a live local band on Friday nights and a place to watch the fireworks on Fourth of July weekend. Cell service and Wi-Fi are great, and the owner provides 40 channels of cable. The laundry facilities, showers, and outdoor dog wash are all clean. Reserve America charges for more than two people for a site, but the nightly rate includes the sales and lodging taxes of almost 12%.
