West Fork Campground is a peaceful, secluded spot nestled in the San Juan Mountains. The campground offers large, spacious sites that accommodate both tents and RVs. There are no utilities, but fresh water and vault toilets are available. The campground is surrounded by trees and some sites are close enough to the West Fork to hear the pleasant sound of the river. There is no bath house or sinks, but the campground host keeps the vault toilets clean and well-maintained. Hiking and ATV trails are nearby, and the Rainbow Hot Springs Trail is a spectacular 12-mile out and back trek. The campground is also close to Pagosa Springs and offers fishermen a place to park. Cell service is spotty, but the campground is a great place to get away and enjoy nature.
