Fort's RV Park is just 10 minutes away from boating, fishing, and swimming at Pueblo Reservoir, and 4 minutes away from Colorado State fairgrounds held in late August through early September each year. The park is also near the Nature Center and Greyhound racing (seasonal). Pueblo is home to many golf courses, including The Desert Hawk at Pueblo West, Hollydot Golf Course, Pueblo Municipal Golf Courses, Walking Stick Golf Course, Elmwood, and more. Pueblo's golf courses offer more playable days a year than most in Colorado. Walking Stick golf course was rated 4-Stars by Golf Digest Magazine and has also been rated as 'Colorado's best golf value'.
