What others are saying about this campground
Arkansas Point campground at Lake Pueblo State Park is an easily accessible campground located on the eastern shore of the park. It is a large campground with plenty of space for tent camping, RVs, and boats. Electric hookups (30 amp) are available, but there is no water or dump station at the site. The campground is mostly level, but some sites have a steep grade off the entry steps. There is a convenient dump station and ample restroom facilities. The campground is not well-shaded, and the sites are spread out, offering privacy. The picnic tables have wind shelters, and the campground is relatively quiet, with the exception of a few boats and cars passing by. The campground offers easy access to the lake, with a boat ramp, and there are hiking trails nearby. The campground is also close to attractions in Canon City and Pueblo. Unfortunately, the Colorado rule prohibits campers from booking for more than three nights without a reservation. Be aware that the lake is subject to Zebra Mussel inspections and decontamination, so boaters should be prepared for longer wait times.

Visitors can enjoy a mild year-round climate and a variety of activities such as sailing, motor-boating, waterskiing, river tubing, hiking, biking, picnicking, and diverse nature exploration. The park offers full-service marinas, boat ramps, and a diversity of campsites.
