Arkansas Point campground at Lake Pueblo State Park is an easily accessible campground located on the eastern shore of the park. It is a large campground with plenty of space for tent camping, RVs, and boats. Electric hookups (30 amp) are available, but there is no water or dump station at the site. Be aware that the lake is subject to Zebra Mussel inspections and decontamination, so boaters should be prepared for longer wait times.

Lake Pueblo, rated a fishing “hot spot,” provides over 4,600 surface acres of water, 60 miles of shoreline and almost 10,000 acres of land. Visitors can enjoy a mild year-round climate and a variety of activities such as sailing, motor-boating, waterskiing, river tubing, hiking, biking, picnicking, and diverse nature exploration. The park offers full-service marinas, boat ramps, and a diversity of campsites. Views of the Greenhorn and Wet mountain ranges to the southwest and the magnificent Pikes Peak to the north are a splendid way to end the day. It is no wonder that Lake Pueblo State Park is a favorite destination.
