Rangely Camp Park is an excellent city-managed RV/Camping Park located in Rangely, Colorado. This park offers a great spot to spend the night or several days, with numerous giant Cottonwood trees providing plenty of shade. Water spigots are located throughout the park and there is a dump station on site. The park is close to Dinosaur National Monument and Kenney Reservoir, which offers fishing, swimming, and boating. There are several spots for RVs and plenty of space for tent camping on grass. Electric hookups are available and the showers are hot. Locals use the campground as a short cut, so be aware of that. There is a ‘Shower Only’ option for non-campers at $2.00 per person. The only issue is that the site is full of street lights that make it a bit difficult to sleep especially for car campers.
