Ridgway State Park is an amazing campground located in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. It offers a wide variety of amenities including full hookups at most sites, beautiful surroundings, a stocked lake and river, manicured and clean park, firewood and ice for sale, hiking trails (paved and unpaved), a modern, clean laundromat, a swim beach, playgrounds, and a marina. The campgrounds offer level concrete pads, patios, picnic tables, fire pits, and some sites have shade trees for privacy. The sites have great views of the surrounding mountains and visitors can spot deer wandering through the park. The park also offers easy access to nearby towns like Ouray, Telluride, and Montrose. The park is patrolled by Park Rangers and the Colorado State Park Department does a great job of providing clean, safe, and enjoyable camping facilities.
