The campground is small and there are only 15 sites, but the sites are well spaced and all are very private. The sites are all gravel and level and have fire rings and picnic tables. There is no water or electric but there is a shared water spigot and a dump station at Rifle Gap State Park just down the road. The campground is very quiet and peaceful, with the occasional vehicle passing by. The sites are all shaded and have a mix of sun and shade. There is a road close by but it is not very busy and the noise from passing vehicles is minimal. The restrooms are clean and have running water in the sinks. The waterfall and caves at the rear of the park are an added bonus and draw in day users. All in all, Rifle Falls State Park is a beautiful and peaceful campground, perfect for a weekend getaway.
