Rifle Gap State Park offers 89 campsites across its five campgrounds: Cottonwood, Lakeview, Cedar, Sage, and Pinion. Cottonwood Campground sits on the water's edge and offers electric hook-ups, while Lakeview Campground sits on top of a hill with a spectacular view of the reservoir and the mountainside. Cedar Campground is located along the water's edge and offers electric hook-ups, while Sage Campground is adjacent to CPW and BLM property and provides easy access for OHV use. Pinyon Campground sits up on the hill overlooking the water and is nestled within pinion and juniper trees, providing some privacy. All campsites require a camping permit and a parks entrance pass. Restrooms with flush toilets and coin-operated showers are located in the center of each campground. The park also offers a holding tank dump station for registered campers. Reservations are required and can be made online or by phone.
