GenieSummary

This campground is the perfect place for a quiet getaway in Colorado. Located off the beaten path, the campground is surrounded by thickly forested areas and offers amazing views of the valley below. With few campers and plenty of tree coverage, the sites are well spaced and provide minimal exposure. The drive to the campground is tough, but the wildflowers, wildlife, and craft fair in town make it worth it. Unfortunately, the mosquitos are bad during the summer months, so it is best to avoid them. There are no hookups or trash receptacles, so visitors should bring plenty of water and be prepared to pack out what they pack in. Vault toilets are available, but not cleaned daily. The campground is great for large RVs, and several sites are handicap accessible.
