This campground is located off the main highway, and is tucked away in a parking lot that used to be a strip of small motel rooms. The sewer connection is tucked back into a corner between the side of the now abandoned motel rooms and a wooden privacy fence that fronts the main highway. The level of service provided is good, and the showers and toilets are always clean. The park setting is nice with a river flowing through, and is quiet at night. There are random ponds and buildings to walk around, including a deserted appearing pavilion in disrepair. The river that runs by the campsite is beautiful and provides a serene setting for the evening and night. There are lots of big beautiful cottonwoods but you might have problems getting a satellite signal. Trash and garbage in fire pit and hooks and other fish stuff left on the picnic table.

Riverside RV Park is located in scenic Salida, CO, in the awe-inspiring Rocky Mountains. It is a beautiful RV Park and campground with tall trees, rich grassy areas, and a rushing South Fork of the Arkansas River. The park is conveniently located just across from Walmart and within walking distance to many great Salida destinations. It offers the best location in Salida, right on the river.
