Red Mountain RV Park is an average campground located in the beautiful Silverton area. It offers level gravel sites with good spacing between neighboring sites, and pull-through sites with plenty of length for large RVs. The campground is conveniently located near the Durango Narrow Gauge train tracks, with stunning views of Kendall Mountain. Guests can rent well-maintained Jeeps to explore the San Juan mountains, and there are several restaurants and boutiques within easy walking distance of the campground. Red Mountain also offers seven private bathrooms with showers, a Jacuzzi, and a sauna. The campground is known for its friendly and accommodating staff, and they even put on a 4th of July BBQ for family, friends, and park guests. Wi-Fi is available, but cell service is better due to the tower located next to the park. Rates are a bit high, but Good Sam discounts are not given to rally participants.

Red Mountain Motel & R.V. Park offers motel rooms, cabins, and two campground areas with full hookups available. The motel rooms feature king and queen beds, full kitchens, and private baths. The cabins are warm and cozy with queen, full-size, and bunk beds, kitchenettes, and private baths. The campground has back-in and pull-thru spots as well as tent sites. The park offers amenities such as Wi-Fi, laundry facility, playground, badminton, volleyball, hot tub, and pets are welcome. The park also offers activities such as Jeep rentals, hunt camp, and high country adventure.
