The park is full of people with ATVs, so its a great place if thats what youre looking for. However, it can be a bit noisy. Its also only a 10 minute walk to downtown Silverton, so its a great location for those who want to explore the town. The campground is well-maintained, with clean bathrooms and laundry facilities. The camp store is quaint and adequate, and the camp hosts do their best to enforce the rules for all guests in regards to dogs, generators, and quiet time. There is also a food truck that serves delicious burgers when it is open for business. On the 4th of July, the owner even brought music to the park for anyone who wanted to join. The only downside is that the campground is across the service road from the overflow dry camping area. Silverton Lakes is a no-frills campground located on the northeast edge of Silverton, Colorado. It is the perfect place to stay for those looking to explore the town or ride the trails in the nearby mountains.
