The campground is situated on a hillside, with most campsites offering great views overlooking Big Meadows Reservoir. There are a number of good hikes, including a short but challenging hike from the upper loop to Cascade Falls. The camp host is friendly and helpful, and the restrooms in the campground are well-maintained. The sites are all good sized, with picnic tables and fire rings, and the campground is quiet and peaceful. The rate reflects a 50% Senior Pass discount.
