South Fork Campground in South Fork, CO is a great campground to consider for your RV camping trip. The campground offers a variety of pull-through sites that are great for larger RVs. You can enjoy riverfront sites or back-in sites, which are both quiet and peaceful at night. The campground has a lot of trees, making most of the sites shady. Although some of the campsites are occupied by long-term campers, the campground also accommodates short-term stays. The owners are friendly and accommodating, and constantly monitoring the site for maintenance issues. The roads and sites are mostly gravel, which can be somewhat dusty, but overall the campground is clean and well-maintained. The park is located next to the Rio Grande River with a view of the mountains. Visitors can enjoy a small playground, laundry room, propane station and shower house facilities. While the Wi-Fi was not tested, all the utilities worked fine. Make sure to set your chair outside your RV by the river so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and soothing sound of the water. Plan to stay for a few days and explore the areas outdoors.
