What others are saying
This campground is located in a rural setting in the middle of a large park with plenty of recreational opportunities. It is conveniently located near Morrison and the Red Rocks Amphitheater, and is a great place to relax for a few days. The campground offers large, mostly level gravel sites with minimal shade, electricity only, and a dump station. There are plenty of walking and biking trails, horseback riding, fishing, and paddle boarding. The campground also offers a playground, a beach, non-motorized boating, archery, and a laundry room. The campground is also well-maintained and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The only downside is that the drinking water does not taste good and the sites do not have full hookups.
