From The Campground
Dry Lake Campground is a small campground located 8 miles northeast of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. It is surrounded by Aspen, Spruce and Fir trees and is in a good location to access some great hiking and biking, one the roadway and the Spring Creek Trail. The campground has 8 campsites with tables and fireplace grates. Vault toilets and trash services are available. Trailer spaces are available with a maximum length of 20 feet. It is within a reasonable driving distance of community events and the commercially operated Strawberry Park Hot Springs. The camping limit is 14 days. This campground is managed by the Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District. The fee for a single unit is $10 per night and there are a couple of first come, first served sites. The campground is open seasonally from mid-June to late October and is heavily used. There is no water available at the campground.
