The camp host was very friendly and helpful. Woodland Park is a great home base for exploring the Pikes Peak region, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, shops, and services. The campground is well-maintained and laid out among tall pine trees, providing plenty of shade. Each site has 30 or 50 amp power and varying rates, and the campground surfaces are packed dirt mixed with gravel. The interior roads may be narrow and confusing at first, but the trees have been trimmed back and the turning radius is adequate. The campground is quiet and peaceful, and the welcome packet is easy to find. Unfortunately, the WiFi blocks Youtube and Netflix, but the Verizon 4G reception is good. The staff is friendly and flexible with reservations, and the park is open until October 1st when water distribution is turned off for the season.

Diamond Campground and RV Park is located in Woodland Park, CO at 8500′ on the flank of Pikes Peak. We offer a quiet, relaxing vacation for you and your family. Our 18 wooded acres feature 130 spacious full hookup sites and 9 tent sites. We have a newly renovated bath house, laundry room, and free WiFi. Our amenities include a playground, common area with propane firepit, horseshoes, corn hole, picnic tables, and BBQ grill. We also have a clubhouse with planned activities such as potluck dinners, pancake breakfast, bingo, poker nights, arts and crafts, bible study, and more. We are walking distance to downtown Woodland Park and just eighteen miles from Colorado Springs.
