This campground is an amazing gem located 8 miles off Interstate 10. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the sites are level and easy to access. There is one small Walmart 20 minutes away, but no other food places or shops nearby. Fire pits and grills rotted. The campground is outdated and the bathrooms are in need of a renovation. There are too many lights at night, making it difficult to enjoy the stars. Despite this, the lakefront sites are beautiful and the park is very clean. All in all, it is a great place to stay and fish.
