Travelers Campground is a short drive from some of the best attractions in the area, including the Shands Cancer Center and the University of Florida Veterinary Hospital. The park is well-maintained and features interesting animals such as an emu, two donkeys, a pot-bellied pig, a horse, a cow, and 6 beautiful macaws. The park is dog-friendly and has a large dog park with obstacles and a dog wash station. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing excellent customer service. The park offers short and long-term stays for RVs.
