The sunset views are stunning and the water views are breathtaking because its an island. The Florida park is clean, safe, quiet, and affordable. It offers all the necessary resources for an enjoyable camping trip. However, it may be difficult to secure a reservation, as the sites are typically booked within 30 seconds or less when reservations open. Despite this, the peaceful and secluded site is definitely worth the effort. The campground is very relaxing and boasts large waterside sites. Visitors are also welcomed by friendly volunteer staff. The park is manicured very nicely and the sites are all asphalt and well taken care of. The bathrooms are fairly clean but not perfect. Guests can enjoy watching boat traffic through the lock and dam on the nearby river. While this is a small campground with around 34 spots, it is beautiful and perfect for relaxing or going kayaking. Guests are advised to keep in mind that there is only one dump station and specific rules regarding dumping.
