This campground is located in south Florida and is a great place for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. It is a great place for glamping and for those who want to be off-grid but still have access to conveniences. The campground does not have any paved roads and ATVs, golf carts, dirt bikes, and other conveyances are allowed to run amok from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The campground is also home to the owners miniature cow, donkey, and goat, which are fun to watch. Unfortunately, the campground can get quite noisy and crowded on the weekends when local party crews arrive with lots of drinking and loud music. The campground also has a rope swing over the river and is a great place for fossil hunting. However, the campground can be quite stressful due to the ATVs and golf carts driven by children all waking hours.

Peace River Campground is a family owned and operated campground located on the Peace River in Arcadia, Florida. We offer a mile of riverfront on the Peace River and plenty of primitive camping on 160 acres. We have 225 full hook up, 50/30/20 amp sites and can accommodate large RV’s. We allow our campers to ride 4 wheelers, side by sides and golf carts in our campground. We have a full camp store filled with everything you need. Check our Facebook page for our food truck schedule. They are also listed under “coming events” on our calendar on the website.
