Cross Creek RV Resort is a great place to stay for a winter season or a short getaway. The resort offers a variety of activities, including tennis, pickle ball, horseshoes, and a pool. The park is immaculately clean and beautifully landscaped, and the office staff is friendly and helpful. There is a reverse osmosis water machine for $.25 per gallon, and mail service is excellent with a private mailbox with key. The Peace River is almost in the back yard of the resort, and shark tooth hunting is abundant. The only downside is that the jammers who gather at sites can be loud, and the shower heads need replacing. The well water is not good, but they have a machine at the park office for filling 1 gallon containers for a quarter. They also offer wifi, but it is $55 a month with a $80 install fee and a $100 box fee, and there is a 4-6 week wait.
