Located in Big Pine Key, FL, Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge offers a waterfront retreat with boat access. Despite being on the main road, you can enjoy a short quiet bike ride on it. The campground has clean amenities and very helpful staff. However, some reviewers suggest that the spots are a bit too tight and not conducive to having pets due to the absence of grass areas. Furthermore, the showers lack hot water, and the restrooms werent the cleanest, depending on the day. Some visitors also experienced an unpleasant smell stemming from the sea grass. The campground can be pricey, and there seems to be better value elsewhere in Florida. Nevertheless, youll enjoy watching pelicans fish from your site, and its an excellent place to go if youre looking for a relaxing waterfront getaway.

You’ll find this Florida campground and RV resort in the lower Keys just past the Seven Mile Bridge at mile marker 33 on the Overseas Highway.
