Pine Island is a small fishing community located about 30 minutes from the closest beach in Cape Coral and 45 minutes from Fort Myers Beach in Fort Myers. It is 17 miles long and has many marinas to launch a boat. Tropical Waters is the campground on the island, with a lot of cute permanent trailers and a nice-sized pool. The park is quiet and clean, and the people are very friendly. Its a great place to visit friends, see the island, and spend time in the sun.
