There are limited pull-through sites, making it a great place for snowbirds. The park is close to Winn Dixie and Walgreens, and there are many planned activities. However, the busy road and never-ending sirens can be a bit of a nuisance. The dryers run hot, so visitors must keep an eye on them. There have been reports of people trying to break into trucks, and there is a cemetery nearby. The humid weather can make it a breeding ground for mosquitoes and other flying critters. Rita, the gatekeeper, can be a bit gruff, but she is nice once you get past the formalities.
