Ellie Rays RV Resort & Lounge is a great little campground located right on the Santa Fe river that empties into the Suwannee. This is our third stay here and its perfect for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle. The pool and spa are beautiful and theres a nice, clean bathhouse with six showers, laundry facility, restaurant, and bar. The campground is located in a small, quiet town, so you have to expect some places to have slower service and no upscale restaurants. However, there are a few places to have pizza and burgers. If you want a relaxed, tranquil atmosphere, this is the place. We enjoyed sipping cocktails while watching people launch boats from the ramp at the campground. There was even a great musician playing on Saturday afternoon. They have a little playground for kids, and you can rent kayaks, jet skis, or a pontoon boat to explore the river. Additionally, the area is known for having some of the most beautiful springs in the world, including Itchnetucknee springs run, which we did twice in a day. Overall, its a fantastic place to unwind and relax, as long as you dont mind a little slower pace!
