Low Key Hideaway Motel & RV Resort is an old rustic campground located a couple of miles from Cedar Key, FL. Although it is a bit expensive with a rate of +$90/night, it offers a unique Tiki bar and wonderful scenery. The park does not have any amenities, but the FHU sites provide great water views. The staff is friendly, and there is occasional live music that ends early. Some traffic noise is possible, including some loud pickups nearby. However, street noise is generally not an issue. In terms of connectivity, there is no campground Wi-Fi, but T-Mobile coverage is strong for tethering. The campsites are in a row along the road. Nonetheless, there are lots of birds to watch and enjoy the scenery. Overall, if you are looking for a simple place to park and explore Cedar Key, Low Key Hideaway Motel & RV Resort is a good option.

Sunset Isle RV Resort is a 70+ site RV park with a small motel on-site as well as a clubhouse with restrooms and showers, a self-pay laundry area, and an on-site cafe serving delicious breakfast and lunch options. The community amenities include barbecue, clubhouse, horseshoes, laundry, library, pet park, and waterfront access. Guests have described the resort as reminiscent of Key West 60+ years ago.
